Samarth

Samarth is a college counselor and extracurricular-development specialist who has achieved amazing results himself and helps students do the same. He specializes in getting into the weeds of passion projects and giving step-by-step guidance on how to create seemingly impossible extracurriculars — like starting nationwide nonprofits and publishing books as a teenager.

He founded English Empowered, an international education nonprofit providing 1-on-1 English tutoring to underprivileged students in India — building a 25-member volunteer leadership team and delivering over $200,000+ in educational and economic value. He also founded Project Lunchroom, a Bay Area nonprofit that raised $50,000+ and coordinated the delivery of 15,000+ meals to unhoused and food-insecure individuals during COVID-19.

As a software developer, he created EatSafeFremont, a data-driven web platform ranking restaurant safety during the pandemic — building Python scripts integrating health-inspection and CDC data, attracting 3,000 users and 20,000+ page views. He is pursuing a BS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with a 4.0 GPA.
