Samarth Tewari

Samarth is a nonprofit project mentor who helps students turn ambitious ideas into real, community-facing initiatives. He specializes in hands-on project development and step-by-step guidance for building and scaling nonprofit work.

He founded English Empowered, an international education nonprofit providing 1-on-1 English tutoring to underprivileged students in India - building a 25-member volunteer leadership team and delivering over $200,000+ in educational and economic value. He also founded Project Lunchroom, a Bay Area nonprofit that raised $50,000+ and coordinated the delivery of 15,000+ meals to unhoused and food-insecure individuals during COVID-19.

As a software developer, he created EatSafeFremont, a data-driven web platform ranking restaurant safety during the pandemic - building Python scripts integrating health-inspection and CDC data, attracting 3,000 users and 20,000+ page views. He is pursuing a BS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with a 4.0 GPA.
